The Lafayette, Oxford and University Home Ownership Management Enterprise (LOU-HOME), Inc., is a non-profit, non-partisan organization whose goal is to increase and promote affordable housing opportunities within our local community.

We are a HUD-approved counseling agency that provides education and support for individuals who would like to begin their journey to homeownership.

We work with local businesses and community organizations to host housing and financial educational workshops.
Our Communities
LOU-HOME served as the developer for Community Green and non-profit partner for Belle Rivers neighborhood. We continue to work with government officials, community organizers and developers to increase the inventory of much needed quality, affordable housing options in Oxford and Lafayette County.
Know Your Rights
Housing Discrimination
If you or someone you know has experienced unlawful discrimination in housing, on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, familial status or disability, the Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Office wants to hear about it.
We can advise you on your options and work with you to report the violation. We can also educate you on your housing rights under the Fair Housing Act and your rights as a renter in the state of Mississippi.
